Flowers Alley was born as a young brand that offers all kind of floral services in the city of Melbourne, specially on the daily ¨ready to go¨ and their artisan work. Aiming a more global audience, I decided to escape from the ¨pink aesthetic” typically used in this kind of business. Inspired by baroque still life paintings, I created a visual line that plays with the chiaroscuro in order to give all attention to the main character: the flowers.
The chiaroscuro game is what defines this brand. A neutral color palette with a little accented color or the way serifs from a type are opposed to the sturdiness of another.
A visual way to explain that a delicate artisan work can reach our day to day without losing any quality.
